This is a Tate FX Antares Overdrive ‘Modified’ pedal in a limited edition Raw Enclosure. The Antares Overdrive is the perfect mid pushed overdrive. Taking influence from a couple of Tate FX’s favourite Japanese overdrives and tweaking until it sounds just right. Featuring a Hi-Fi grade Burr Brown FET based operational amplifier this overdrive really hits home with warm gain tones through to pushed mid tones. The 'Clean' control lets you blend your clean signal into your drive tone. This is great to retain clarity or certain bass frequencies that a mid-pushed drive can tend to remove. This particular example has been modified from the factory, and features side mounted jacks and 2 mini toggles at the top. The two way toggle to the top appears to provide bass/treble boosts whilst the 3 way mini toggle grants access to 3 different voicings ranging from a thick tone on the outer positions and a more biting tone in the centre. Condition Report This pedal is in very good condition with minimal signs of use. The pedal has been tested and is fully functional. The pedal does not include the original box or a 9V power supply.
